Happy summer

I decided to participate to the "Happy Summer" nail art contest organized by Born Pretty Store. Each person can submit no more than two manicures to have the chance to win one of the generous prizes, so I decided to create two different nail art designs, specially for this contest.

M-am hotărât să particip la concursul de artă pe unghii „Vară fericită” organizat de Born Pretty Store. Fiecare persoană se poate înscrie cu maxim două manichiuri pentru a avea şansa de a câştiga unul dintre generoasele premii, aşa că am decis să creez două modele diferite, special pentru acest concurs.

 

For my first manicure, I tried to incorporate all the elements that, for me, make up a happy summer: long walks on the beach, wearing my favourite flip-flops, drinking a refreshing cocktail from the bar, playing with a beach ball on the sand and watching the sun rise and set at the seaside.

Pentru primul model, am încercat să încorporez toate elementele care constituie pentru mine o vară fericită: plimbări lungi pe plajă, să port şlapii preferaţi, să beau un cocktail răcoritor de la bar, să mă joc cu o minge de plajă pe nisip şi să privesc un răsărit şi un apus de soare de la mare.

For my second manicure, I decided to let my thumb nail as it was because I fell in love with the way it turned out... On my other nails, I thought that a beach umbrella, a hammock and some palm trees would fit in perfectly, as relaxing on a beach also means a happy summer for me.

Pentru cel de-al doilea model, am decis să las unghia degetului mare aşa cum era pentru că ador felul în care a ieşit... Pe celelalte unghii, m-am gândit că o umbrelă de plajă, un hamac şi nişte palmieri s-ar potrivi de minune, pentru că o vară fericită pentru mine înseamnă şi să mă relaxez pe plajă.
