Purple autumn

Hello, dear friends !
Sorry for not posting for so long... Life can be such a mess sometimes ! I just needed to tidy up a bit and get back on track. I think I finally nailed it... :D

Today it's time for an autumn manicure, for which I chose burgundy and gold, studs, a textured accent nail.and free-handed leaves. Nothing special, nothing complicated. Just... something different.

I used Golden Rose Rich Color #31 on my thumb and pinky, Golden Rose Holiday #58 for the accent nail and S-he Stylezone #320 on my pointer and middle finger nails.

I just hope you like the result as much as I did...

Thanks for stopping by ! ^_^

Chocolate marble

What does a normal girl do when she is stressed ? She eats chocolate ! ^_^
Well... I'm not saying I am stressed, but my life could be better right now.
I'm not saying I ate chocolate, but I created a design inspired by chocolate on my nails.

As usual, I applied a base coat to protect my nails. Unlike the other designs I did so far, I didn't apply any base color. I simply started creating the design by applying the three colors in thin strips, not paying attention to how straight they were and completely disregarding the fact that they sometimes flooded my cuticles. It got a little messy, just because I had to apply the nail polishes in a generous amount, so that they can be opaque in one coat. I also had to move quickly, to prevent the nail polish from drying. Next, I just took my smallest dotting tool (I could have also used a needle or a toothpick) and I started swirling the colors from the cuticle area to the tip of each nail. With a brush dipped in acetone, I cleaned my cuticles right away, before the nail polish dried. One the design was dry, I applied my Farmec Gel TopCoat to give the manicure a smooth and glossy finish.

I hope you like this design and the colors I chose. It is very easy to do with both hands, it doesn't require any special tools or skills and the result is pretty as hell ! ^_^

Very me

Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'V', and I chose to create this 'Very me' manicure. It's called this way because I created it using a set that is called "Denim Effect" that I received as a present, and also because jeans are my favourite thing to wear.

After applying a base coat and then two coats of the nail polish from the package, I started applying the silver decals that resemble studs. On some of the nails I also chose to apply actual silver studs to create a different look. This nail polish dries matte, but I had to apply top coat to make my manicure last longer.

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

Please stop by the other girls to see their manicures for this theme !

    Undress me

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'U', and I chose to create this 'Undress me' manicure. I wore this manicure a week ago at a friend's wedding and it was inspired by the dress I wore - simple, black and with lace details.

First of all, you should know that for this manicure I created a very sheer black nail polish and I applied it after creating the black French manicure. Once that was dry, I stamped the lacey design using the Konad stamping plate m57. Next, using the same stamping plate, I randomly added some flowers and sealed the design using the glossy Seche Vite top coat.

The next day, I really wanted to try the matte version of the manicure. Which one do you like best ?

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

    Tropical sunset

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'T', and I chose to create this Tropical sunset manicure. I think that this design is so perfect for this time of the year, with autumn right around the corner...

After applying a base coat, as usual, I created the gradient on the sponge using purple, pink and yellow and afterwards I just dabbed the sponge onto the nails to transfer the colours - it took me 3 coats to get them opaque. Next, I applied a coat of Seche Vite to help the base dry faster. Using some black nail polish I created the French tips and then I drew the palm trees and the birds using black acrylic paint (oh, how I missed drawing something on my nails !...). When everything dried, I applied one final coat of Seche Vite and... voilà ! :D

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

    Sugar skulls

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'S', and I chose to create this Sugar skulls manicure. I wanted something that was easy to do, but at the same time eye-catching.

To achieve this manicure, I started with a base coat and then applied black nail polish on three of my nails. I chose two accent nails and painted them white. Then, using black acrylic paint and a dotting tool, I created the shape of two flowers on each nail for the eyes, an upside-down heart to act as a nose and then I used simple lines for the mouths using a striper brush. Once the acrylic dried, I applied a small amount of top coat in the center of the flowers to place the studs and finally applied one final layer of top coat to seal in the design.

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

    Romantic

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'R', and I chose to create this Romantic manicure. I know it's been 5 weeks since my last post and I truly missed doing my nails and writing articles on my blog for you. However, now I'm back and I really hope I'll be able to continue doing what I love. ^_^

    Day time - natural light

I started with my usual base coat and then applied two coats of Golden Rose Rich Color #05. When that dried, I simply took Gabrini Summer Edition - #M110 and stamped a flower pattern using a stamping plate I got from Born Pretty Store. Then I just used Seche Vite to seal the design.

    Lace

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'L', and I chose to create this Lace manicure. This look was created a while back, while my nails were a bit longer and rounder, but I didn't get to write the post until now.

To achieve this manicure, I started with a base coat and then applied Golden Rose Rich Color #05 on all of my nails. On the accent nails, I applied some special nail art lace from Cupio. It is light pink and has pink glitters in different sizes. On the rest of my nails, I applied a small amount of KIKO Sparkle Touch #261 Pearly Amethyst starting from the cuticle area, on 3/4 of the nails. While that was still wet, I applied some small individual pink hexagonal glitters from Born Pretty Store, in some sort of a gradient effect. The manicure was sealed with Seche Vite top coat.

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

    Khaki

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'K', and I chose to create this Khaki manicure. I wanted to create a simple manicure, because lately it's been very hard for me to find the time to come up with new ideas and to create new designs.

This time I chose to use the gorgeous khaki color from Rimmel 60 Seconds #813 Round And Round The Garden after applying the base coat, as usual. On top of it, I just applied some simple water decals and some black round studs, sealed the manicure with Seche Vite top coat and this is what turned out...

    Just playing

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'J', and I chose to create this Just playing manicure. As you might have already noticed, I started picking some really strange names for my manicures lately, I just hope this doesn't bother you that much... After all, you are my readers and it's your opinion I care about most. For this distressed effect I used the dry brush technique. It's not the first time I tried it, you can see my first design here, it was actually the first theme from this amazing collaboration that I absolutely love.

I started by applying a base coat and then white nail polish on all of the nails. When that dried, I chose yellow, pink, blue, green and purple in this exact order and, using this technique, I applied each one of them in different spots on the nails. Lastly, I sealed the manicure with my Seche Vite top coat. This technique is very versatile, as its effect can be completely different every time, depending on the color combinations and the number of nail polishes you decide to use. For this particular design I just wanted to play with vibrant colors for a summer manicure.

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^

    In love

    Hello, everybody !

Today's theme in the "Alphabet nail art challenge" is the letter 'I', and I chose to create this In love manicure. I know that the title I chose is quite unusual, but I felt like it would be unique in this collaboration. I just hope you'll approve. ^_^ I used my newest Astor additions 'Yellow Buttercup' and 'Soft Poppy' for this look, together with some heart-shaped water decals.

I applied a base coat on all of my nails, then used Astor 'Soft Poppy' on two of my nails and Astor 'Yellow Buttercup' on the remaining ones. Then I simply added the water decals on the yellow nails. I really like these decals, because they are very easy to use and they come in handy when you don't have too much time to paint your nails. I sealed the manicure with Seche Vite top coat and it lasted me for a whole week.

So... now onto your opinions ! Do you like the theme, the idea, the result, the pictures ?... I'd love to see what you think about this design. Thank you for your time ! ^_^
