Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I felt the need to wear pink again this week, so I can get it over with and switch to more neutral, earth-toned colours that fit autumn more.

If last week I was showing you a rock version using studs as inspiration for a Pinktober manicure, this week I am wearing a softer, more delicate and more feminine manicure for which I used these water decals received from Born Pretty Store.

These water decals are awesome, they are so easy to use and the detailing is amazing; I am not sure if anyone could draw such tiny little things so beautifully on a nail. You must only follow the instructions provided on the back of the packaging and you have yourself an unique manicure in just seconds. It all depends on the base colour on which you apply these decals and the possibilities are endless.

I must admit I had to trim them a little bit, the dresses of those Chinese women would have fit best on square nails, but mine are oval and the decals are so small that I couldn't quite trim them as I hoped. There is also not much variety of designs of this particular set of water decals that I received, but I think I can still create one more design with what I have. Am simţit nevoia să port roz şi săptămâna aceasta, ca să termin odată cu această culoare şi să trec la nuanţe mai neutre, mai pământii, care să fie mai potrivite pentru toamnă.

Dacă săptămâna trecută vă arătam o manichiură rock ca inspiraţie pentru 'roztombrie', creată cu ajutorul ţintelor, săptămâna aceasta port o manichiură mai finuţă, mai delicată şi mai feminină, pentru care am folosit aceste abţibilduri pe care le-am primit de la Born Pretty Store.

Abţibildurile astea sunt grozave, uşor de folosit şi cu nişte detalii uimitoare; nu cred că e cineva care să poată desena atât de frumos nişte lucruri atât de micuţe pe unghii. Trebuie doar să urmăriţi instrucţiunile de pe spatele ambalajului şi obţineţi o manichiură unică în câteva secunde. Depinde numai pe ce culoare de bază aplicaţi abţibildurile şi posibilităţile sunt nelimitate.

Trebuie să recunosc că a fost nevoie să le ajustez un pic, rochiile acelor chinezoaice fiind mai potrivite pe unghii pătrate, dar ale mele sunt ovale şi abţibildurile sunt atât de mici, încât nu le-am prea decupat eu cum trebuia. De asemenea, nu prea e varietate de modele în setul acesta de abţibilduri pe care l-am primit, dar cred că mai reuşesc să creez încă un model cu ce am. Puteţi vedea o imagine cu acest set aici.
